Gnubb Club League – Coming Soon!
At long last almost everything has been put together so this can be started in earnest.
Those of you that read the first match report (don’t worry Simpletons, that was only a friendly!) will know what the first game will be, but for those needing a teaser, how about this?
Yes, it’s…
The match is being done this week, with the Boolprop team coming from the following pool of players: Callie ImmatureStrikes, Greycurse, Katiecat, Mirra Blackcat10106, MmmToast (team captain – and congratulations to her on her recent appointment as a moderator at Boolprop Fight The Addiction False), Orangeplumbob, Sarriaka, Scarlet Simphony, Tygercat12 and Wonton4Life.
More to come once the games have been done.
Half Man Half Biscuit
To celebrate/commiserate (delete according to opinion) the release of the latest album by everyone’s favourite shower of cynical miserable Scousers – Half Man Half Biscuit – here’s a collection of sixteen T-shirts and two hooded tops featuring various motifs from their record artwork over the years, plus some original pieces as well.
Will fit Teen, Young Adult and Adults.
All items are recolourable, but the logos aren’t.
As there’s no Teen Male hooded top with the basic pack, there’s a Teen Male Tracksuit top instead.
Please also find a collection of eight promotional posters and various related thingymajigs available as pictures for your Sims 3 game – the mesh for which comes once again with many thanks from Helen-Sims, so it’s base game friendly.
Simply unzip and drop into your mods/package folder, and they should show up.
Enjoy!
In conjunction with The Mare’s Nest – well someone else has to take the blame!
Limbo – The Game (no, not the way your Sims 3 game ends up every time they release a patch…)
Twenty two frescos and nine wall murals of screenshots from the wonderful little game Limbo – now at long last available for the PC.
The frescos use the mesh by Dyokabb (who runs Sims Angels , amongst other things, merci beaucoup!), and the wall sized murals use a mesh which comes once again with many thanks from Helen-Sims.
Please also find three T-shirt designs featuring various motif from this wonderful little game.
Will fit Teen, Young Adult and Adults. Both sexes as always.
All items are recolourable, but the logos aren’t.
To use, download, unzip, and drop the contained folder into your The Sims 3\mods\packages folder and they should show up.
Enjoy!
To celebrate our first anniversary, here’s a nostalgic array of nine British Public Health Information posters, from the famous ‘Coughs And Sneezes Spread Diseases’ campaign that outlasted World War 2 and was to run for many decades to the nightmare inducing ‘Rabies Is A Killer/Rabies Means Death/Don’t Smuggle Death’ campaign that did for relations with the French what Jaws did for seaside holidays.
This uses a mesh by SweetyBlacky, so it is base game friendly.
The frames are recolourable.
Simply download, unzip, then drop the contained folder into your The Sims 3\mods\packages folder and they should show up.
Enjoy!
Once again, you may remember back in January there was a twenty five picture pack of Nicoletta Ceccoli illustrations put up – please see here.
These are the other ‘lost’ set of Nicoletta Ceccoli illustrations – in this case from the childrens book ‘The Girl Inside The Castle Inside The Museum’ (2007) that were done during February 2011, but were ‘lost’ when moving stuff over to a new computer.
Please note that you must have the Sims 3 Design & High Tech Stuff pack for one of the paintings to show up.
The frames are recolourable.
Simply download, unzip, then drop the contained folder into your The Sims 3\mods\packages folder and they should show up.
Enjoy!
Nicoletta Ceccoli: from ‘Oscar And The Mooncats’
You may remember back in January there was a twenty five picture pack of Nicoletta Ceccoli illustrations put up – please see here.
These are some more Nicoletta Ceccoli illustrations specifically from the childrens book ‘Oscar And The Mooncats’ (2007) that were done during February 2011, but were ‘lost’ during a move of stuff over into a new computer. There’s another ‘lost’ set to put up later this week.
The frames are recolourable.
Simply download, unzip, then drop the contained folder into your The Sims 3\mods\packages folder and they should show up.
Please note that you must have the Sims 3 Design & High Tech Stuff pack for one of the paintings to show up.

Graphic Nothing
Artwork by Gary Andrew Clarke aka Graphic Nothing for your Sims 3 enjoyment.
He doesn’t think it’s graphic design. He doesn’t think it’s graphic art. So he calls it graphic nothing. Which is as nice a compromise as you’re likely to get.
His influences are Herbert Bayer, Max Bill, László Moholy-Nagy, Theo van Doesburg, Frank Stella, Kazimir Malevich, Piet Mondrian, and of course the Bauhaus. No, not the Goth band, although once upon a time he did do the artwork incognito for a number of independent bands.
He also likes biscuits, but it is unknown as to whether those two facts mean he’s half man half biscuit, but if you know anyone that fits that description send them here.
There’s eleven designs within the wall sized pictures package file – the mesh for which comes once again with many thanks from Helen-Sims.
There’s also fifteen smaller pictures using a mesh by Yarona at Sims Modeli so that you do not need any stuff packs for this to work.
Please also find thirteen T-shirts featuring various motifs also by Gary Andrew Clarke, some of which you will recognise from the pictures above.
Will fit Teen, Young Adult and Adults. Both sexes as always.
All items are recolourable, but the logos aren’t.
To use, download, unzip, and drop the contained folder into your The Sims 3\mods\packages folder and they should show up.
Enjoy!

It’s another beautiful day on Lonely Island – as always until they introduce weather – with all the islanders celebrating that since Rflong7 has made her towns and island’s out of bounds to the rest of the Simmie world, no-one can come and collect any tax money from them. Does this make Lonely Island the first Simmie tax haven?
Meanwhile, on the north east coast, something strange has appeared.
What’s this? Some sort of Berlin Wall thing to keep out tax inspectors from the Isle Of Sims?
And what’s this? Rehearsals for Lonely Island’s first all-girl band? What do you call yourselves – The Not Very Quick And The Undead?
‘Cease your derpage or I will dominate you with my crabbiness. My associates and I are airing my new improved wall art and rather fetching t-shirts.’
The sooner someone from the waste disposal department fetches them, the better.
‘Do you wish my Vorpal blade to tear you a new one? My friends are delighted to be the first to wear these new designs.’
Of course they are – whatever you say, Cloverstardrop!
‘You’re asking for a good vorpelling. Willow has, um, a trapped sneeze, Rowan’s having, erm, an asthma attack, and Hazel’s, ur, practicing her world famous Homsar impression.’
‘Homsar impression indeed! We’re only doing this because she threatened to practice her singing instead.’
That bad?
‘Only last week, the police came over from the Isle Of Sims when she was singing “Red Rain”, and said they’d received an emergency phonecall that someone was murdering Peter Gabriel.’
‘Confounded at every turn by douchewaffledom! I will poke you with a Q-Tip Hazel with extreme crabbery if you persist – Haily’s not moaning about it, is she?’
‘Only because you jabbed her.’
‘It was only a Kerplunk stick!’
‘May I ask where you managed to find a Kerplunk stick capable of injecting 100ml of Hypnoval?’
‘Come on Hazel, I had to do something. That roofie I put in her Sprite was taking too long to work.’
Moving along!
If any of you are interested in the wall sized pictures, here’s how they look in-game.
Cloverstardrop’s ‘Get Stuffed!’ Pack
With the world and their grannies doing ‘stuff packs’ just now, decided to be different and unleash a ‘get stuffed!’ pack of bits and bobs connected with Switch.
Last year when this blog was still in camera, there was uploaded some t-shirts and a number of pictures taken from artwork lovingly ripped off from Cloverstardrop aka Cloverstardropper aka Switch from Dragoncave and elsewhere.
(ie. Red Drop, Purple Drop, Black Wound, Time & Space Gallery and some other Veoh pictures.)
These are some of the pictures from that time redone on a larger frame to fit at wallheight, which in retrospect works far better (especially the ‘Time & Space’ gallery stuff).
They had to be redone in this fashion for the story planned for the future to be posted here, so thought may as well post them up for anyone else to download if desired.
There’s six designs within to each package file – the mesh for which comes once again with many thanks from Helen-Sims.
Please also find some T-shirts and polo tops featuring various motifs also from Cloverstardrop, some of which you will recognise from the pictures above.
Will fit Teen, Young Adult and Adults.
All items are recolourable, but the logos aren’t.
To use, download, unzip, and drop the contained folder into your The Sims 3\mods\packages folder and they should show up.
Enjoy!
‘What Pumpkin? These pumpkins!’ will be familiar to anyone that reads The Blog That Must Not Be Named – which is of course the source for all evil in the universe and nobody should ever read it.
Seven Jan Pienkowski illustrations from The Kingdom Under The Sea by Joan Aiken (based on traditional Slavic tales) .
This uses a mesh by Yarona at Sims Modeli so that you do not need any stuff packs for this to work.
All seven pictures are contained in the one frame, costing only §1 to buy in game.
Simply unzip and drop into your mods/package folder, and they should show up.
Enjoy!
