Greetings and salutations.
I kinda sort of remember the whole be weirdness going down at EA’s Sims 3 forum. I was was just starting get into the whole sims 3 thing as the foreverbaning was taking place. I remembered the message sequences getting all F’d up and a little of the multiple moments of naysaying that were going on.
Having come from forums and running a BBS on a Fidonet and Opus, I just learned to put the rude on Abort, Retry, Ignore (MS DOS reference) so I didn’t really pay that much attention to the whole splitting of the ways thing. But, it was interesting to finally find out how everything boiled out.
Just a couple of small things. First, the downloads for Muttley and the Really Rottens has been pulled by Mediafile. A few of the other downloads below this have met the bin of the evil “report them and they will get the downloads deleted” retaliation squad.
A few of these I was looking forward to downloading, I just know they were all kind of below this point.
Also based on the fact that we both have similar taste in music, and bands and even cultural references such as Sid and Marty Croft productions. And listened to Gary Neuman, and Probably the first Berlin album, And Fields of Nephilim, Ministry, Sisters of Mercy, Cocteau Twins, Revolting Cocks, etc I noticed a couple of gaping holes in t shirt designs.
I am hoping to start doing some, but I am just to the point of using a tutorial on an abandoned Sim 2 item, and grabbing the mesh and converting it to Sims 3 if the original CC artest doesn’t mind or doesn’t respond and does not forbid it in the original UIC. I am thinking that I have not seen much in the way of Echo and the Bunnymen, Jesus & the Mary Chain, or even a lot of the Cocteau twins.
If you dont want to I can always try, I just have never done one. but am willing to learn. Thanks for your time and listening to me ramble.
